ムービーユニオンはフリーター労組の分会として、クリエイティヴ・ アーティスト活動に労務（労働）という概念が加わる次の文化サイクルを模索し、クリエーターたちの「やりがい」の搾取が横暴する時代の終焉をイメージする。お前の代わりならいくらでもいると絶えず脅され働く不定期労務者（映画監督／映像ディレクター／アニメーター／カメラマン／WEBデザイナーなどクリエーター・アーティスト全般）のユニオン。
